I often perform on these two instruments simultaneously, especially in acoustic settings and yoga classes. Featured here with Tyler Sussman (flute) and Tripp Dudley (tabla).
This is the trio I have been working intimately with since the inception of Didge Project. I play didgeridoo and keyboards (at the same time) while Tyler Sussman plays sax and flute and a third member plays drums or percussion. Here David Ashkenazy lays down the beats.
As a guest performer with the MSU Choir I was also invited to teach a masterclass for a number of music students. It was amazing working with wind instrumentalists, some of whom were able to pick up circular breathing during this class.
L.A. Outback is likely one of the best didge stores in America and I have had the privilege to visit and demo their didges on a number of occasions. Here’s a little piece I did in the tiki hut while playing my Woodslide.
It was an honour to participate in 3 performances of Sarah Hopkins‘ composition “Honour the Earth” with the Montclair State University Singers, directed by Dr. Heather J. Buchanan. This performance was at the Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium in Providence, Rhode Island in February of 2012.
Welcome to Groovyland was a stellar event spearheaded by my dear friend, singer/songwriter Adam Collett. I am very grateful to have been a part of the magic.
I was given the honor to perform with sound healer Roger Ansanelli for the opening ceremony at the massive underground Brooklyn event, One Dream NYC on November 11, 2011.
